Dear CMHA Families,

It has come to our attention that members of the CMHA Hockey association have been in close
contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
To ensure the health and safety of our members - which is our key priority - we have taken the
necessary precautions to protect players and families. For privacy reasons, we will not be
sharing any further information about those affected. Any teams who have been in contact will
be notified.
To help protect the wellbeing of our players and volunteers, please keep your athlete at
home if they are sick, have symptoms (sore throat, runny nose, cough or fever) or if they
answer YES to any of the COVID-19 Screening questions. This health wavier needs to be
completed daily before arriving at the arena. For questions about COVID-19, call 811 or visit
alberta.ca/covid19.
Please know the Chestermere Recreation Centre, had previously commenced enhanced
housekeeping services throughout the building. CHMA hockey activities will remain open and
we will continue to work directly with and follow the recommendations of AHS, Alberta Hockey
and the Chestermere Rec Centre.
Please provide your support to our hockey community and respect the privacy of those
impacted families.
Should you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to
submit them to the DIGITAL CMHA COVID-19 QUESTION LINK.
