The Lakers Development Program is a six week program that will run on the weekends from March 6, 2021 to April 11, 2021. 
 
Program details: 

• For 8 development sessions, the total cost per player will be $150. 
• The first four weeks will have 1 - 1 hour on ice development sessions on either Saturday or Sunday with the last two weeks having 2 - 1 hour on ice development sessions over the weekend.
• Registration will be offered to existing CMHA players only from age groups 2003 to 2016.
• Registrations will be on a first come first, first served basis and spots will be limited. If you're not able to register, please contact the registrar to be added to the waitlist.   Depending on the number of registrants per age division, ages may be mixed to maximize available space. 

Ice times and age grouping are dependant on registration but the ice timeframes are as follows for the first weekend (March 6th)
 
Saturday AM - 7:00am - 9:30am
Saturday PM - 3:00pm - 8:00pm
Sunday AM - 8:00am - 10:45am
 
Exact ice times for the first weekend will be provided by Friday, March 5th, please note that younger groups will play earlier times, with older age groups playing at later times. All other ice times will be provided to the players the week following the first session, via Teamlinkt.
 
With such a short disjointed hockey season, the Lakers Development Program will provide an opportunity for players to get back on the ice. It will focus on fast puck moving drills that give the players the chance to enjoy hockey. We have developed practice plans for each group to keep them engaged and to have as much fun as possible, while improving their skill level. Coaches from Chestermere Minor Hockey have volunteered their time to help run the ice times.
 
The Lakers Development Program will adhere to all COVID-19 protocols set by the Government of Alberta, Hockey Alberta and the CRCA. As per the protocols in place at this point in time all ice time will be non contact and socially distanced. As regulations change our protocol may be updated.
 
Registration is open until the end of day on March 3rd, all payments must be made by the end of day March 4th to be allowed on the ice. No refunds will be offered for this program.
