Please be advised of the following CMHA updates in accordance with the Alberta Public Health Measures announced today, September 15, 2021. https://www.alberta.ca/covid-19-public-health-actions.aspx
Youth (under 18) sport, fitness, recreation and performance activities (Sept 16)
Indoor group classes, training, and competitions are permitted, but participants are required to:
- screen for symptoms
- maintain 2 metres distancing, except youth while engaged in physical activity
- wear a mask, except youth while engaged in physical activity
With Immediate Effect: All players must complete the mandatory health screening waiver on TeamLinkt prior to participating in indoor CMHA sports activities.
All other Alberta Public Health regulations (listed above) must be adhered to without exception.

Spectator attendance is be determined by Chestermere Recreation Centre to meet the requirements of AHS. Please ensure that all Chestermere Recreation Centre guidelines are followed as communicated by the Rec Centre directly.
Adult (over 18) sport, fitness, recreation and performance activities (Sept 20) – U21 Hockey Teams Only
CMHA is reviewing the approach regarding the U21 team (adult, over 18) sport, fitness, recreation and performance activities and will be waiting for direction from Hockey Calgary and Hockey Alberta. More information will be shared with impacted team.
